Categories

Organizing your novel library with custom taxonomy.

As your collection expands, the default unified library view may become difficult to navigate. Novon provides a robust Categories system to help you segment your novels by status, genre, or personal preference.

Creating Categories

  1. Navigate to the Library tab.
  2. Tap the filter icon in the top right to reveal the Library Management sheet.
  3. Select Edit Categories.
  4. Tap the + button to define a new category, such as "Currently Reading," "Completed," or "On Hold."
Persistance

You can reorder categories by dragging the handle icon. This order dictates the sequence of the category tabs displayed at the top of your library interface.

Assigning Novels

To link a novel to one or more categories:

  1. Perform a Long-press on a novel cover within your library to enter Selection Mode.
  2. Select all novels you wish to categorize.
  3. Tap the Tag icon on the bottom action bar.
  4. Select the desired categories from the list and tap Save.
Multi-Categorization

Novon allows a single novel to reside in multiple categories simultaneously. For example, a title can appear in both "Action" and "Finished" categories.
