Common questions about managing your library.

How do I update my library?

Pull down from the top of the Library screen to trigger a manual update check. Novon will contact the source websites for all novels in your library and check for new chapters.

Why does updating take so long?

To prevent your IP address from being banned by security services like Cloudflare, Novon artificially delays requests between updates. If you have hundreds of novels in your library, a full update process can take several minutes to complete safely.

Can I sort my library differently?

Tap the filter icon in the top right of the Library screen. You can sort the view by:

  • Alphabetical
  • Last Read
  • Last Updated
  • Date Added
  • Total Chapters
  • Unread Chapters
Sorting History

The sort order is persistent and saved per-category.
